Karen Hawkins is one of my go to authors for sexy and funny historical Scottish romances. I know I can pick any of her titles and enjoy myself. Her characters are smart and funny and she tells one mean story! And this novella is another great addition to her new series of European royals looking for love in the wilds of Scotland.Despite its short length, I never felt the story was rushed or exhibited a lack of details. This series combines the uber-sexiness of Highlander/Scottish romances with the exoticism of Eastern Europe, making for a original and entertaining romance.
