Seduced by the Gladiator
First person voice is really a challenge for me, even more so when the voice is so opposite my own. Male or female, it doesn't matter. The voice was one of the problems I had with this story; the other was the historical setting, Rome (BC, I assume). The writing and pacing were fine but I couldn't overcome the heroine. She wasn't the type of heroine I prefer reading about in my leisure time.
