Rating: BI really liked how the author represented Austen's characters in modern life. We still see Lizzie's sense of humor and Darcy's seriousness, Jane's optimism; but we are also given a glimpse of the secondary characters not explored in Pride and Prejudice. This, I think, is the reason I enjoyed it; the author didn't try to force Pride and Prejudice characters into a contemporary mold, but incorporated the prominent characteristics of each into characters of her own.
