Rating: B-Argh! I love me some pirates. I enjoyed this story for the most part, James writes amazing romances, but I did have problem with the quickness of the relationship between the main characters. Married for a only a day several years ago, and then the get back together and into bed practically the second day of their reunion? Where they hadn't had sex on their wedding night? It just didnt' seem very plausible. The story was still good though; funny, smart and full of a strong and determined couple.I wouldn't call this a novella in its own right, but more of a companion to The Ugly Duchess. It is not necessary to have read The Ugly Duchess--the story can stand alone--but it makes a much better read if you do.*review copy provided by publisher
