This novella had all of the elements I love best about James--smooth writing, lush scenes, and intelligent stories. I am seriously glad I waited, though, as each piece (there were three total) ended at a key section that would have killed me to wait a week for. It was shorter than some other novellas I've read but it never felt lacking. I've said it before but you can never go wrong with an Eloisa James title. A must read for those who enjoy engaging stories, fierce heroines, and books that bring out tears as well as laughter and warmth.*review copy provided by publisher for honest review
