3.5 stars--Full review at Tempting ReadsThis book was not dark but it was just as addictive. Although I don't think it was a romance in the traditional sense. It was more like romantic fiction or fiction with strong romantic elements. The book before this one showed the progression of meet, lust, intimacy. This book was more a demonstration of the effort involved in making a new relationship work. Broke down into weeks, each with an appropriate name (my favorite was "Week Six: Armageddon It"), it provides a realistic view of some the difficulties in merging two totally opposite personalities.While there is a first book, this can be read alone. If you read this book first, you don't miss out on anything; the first could be thought as a prologue. If you went the other route like I did, reading Country Mouse first, City Mouse comes across as long epilogue. Either route you choose, this book was a delight and a must read for those looking for a quality M/M story with smoking hot characters.*review copy provided by publisher via NetGalley
