The story of Eros has been one of my favorites since I first discovered Greek mythology. Bennett's retelling incorporates parts of the original myth--Eros as Greek god of love and his marriage to Psyche--and then adds a modern twist.Overall, I really enjoyed the story. Bennett kept me turning the pages to see what happened to Ross and if he ever learned to go after what he wanted. Cannot wait to see if the secondary characters get stories of their own.My only hesitation in giving this story five stars is the length. I would have preferred to see the relationship between Ross and Annie play out a little more. However, the current length didn't seem out of place or choppy.
