Like Connor, I overlooked her qualities until her actions showed her to be one of the most heroic characters in the book. I highly recommend this not only because it was a good Highlander romance (set in a time not usual for romances) but because it provides a wonderful example of another type of heroine (quiet, introverted) who is every bit as determined and fierce as the heroines you see in any other fiction title today.*review copy provided by publisher via NetGalley for honest review
